This was shot in Algonquin, actually on quite a pleasant evening when we were in a marsh shooting water lilies, etc. I liked the bare trees and clouds and changed it to B&w to add drama.

The flicker was shot with a fill flash. This got a first prize as a nature shot.

This is an experiment in adding light beams to a scene to give more colour. Unfortunately, green and yellow do not project well.

This is a Willet about to take flight. This shows his wing colours which are a big help in identifying him from other shore birds. I got promotion points for this one.

The daisy was in a dark shadow and hit by a ray of sunlight. Unfortunately, the pictures are projected to be judged and the background is black so that this picture was lost in the backgr ...
